CNBA KNIGHTS

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

PLAYER DEVELOPMENT

The CNBA Basketball program is a great opportunity to develop as a basketball player through an emphasis on fundamentals, team play, sportsmanship, and development  of basketball knowledge.  In addition, through CNBA each athlete will have the chance to play against high level competition from across the Midwest. It is our goal that every

participant in the CNBA program makes friends for life, learns the game,

competes at a high level, and improves as a player.

CNBA SUMMER TOURNAMENTS

The CNBA tournament Schedule will be set for each team by mid-March 2020.  Each CNBA team will play 4 or 5 tournaments during the spring and summer with tournaments potentially beginning in April and finishing by the end of June, 2020.  Schedules may vary for each team but our goal is to have most CNBA teams competing in the same tournaments throughout the summer.  Each year, CNBA has competed in the MAYB Summer Kickoff tournament in mid June in Wichita

with the remaining tournaments TBA by mid-March.  Cost for the CNBA program is $600 for 5th-8th graders (5 Tournaments) and $500 for

4th and 9th-12th Graders (4 Tournaments)

CNBA PRACTICES

All practices will be held at the PAC in Aurora, Nebraska.  Teams will practice two times per week starting in late March, 2020.  Practice times will be 1 ½ to 2 hours in length and will be held on Sundays and a weekday evening that will vary for each team.  In making a commitment to CNBA basketball we ask that you also commit to attending practices

when they are scheduled for your selected team.

Cameron Hudson

CNBA DIRECTOR

Welcome to the home of the CNBA Knights!  We are excited you have an interest in our basketball development program and are ready to provide a great experience for your son/daughter should they participate in CNBA.

I am currently the high school principal at High Plains Community Schools in Polk, Nebraska.  During my time at HPC I was the boys basketball coach for 15 years.  Player development, team play, and hard work were trademarks of our teams at High Plains Community and I am excited to lead the CNBA Basketball Academy and develop great players and people.

I live with my wife Holly and our three children, Kassidy, Cooper, and Hadley, in Aurora and each are excited about the future of CNBA Basketball.  We hope that you choose to participate in this program as we have seen the benefits of having our oldest daughter Kassidy play CNBA basketball.  We firmly believe in the development as both a player and a teammate and are excited to continue this great program.  Go Knights!
